Scholarships
Scholarships recognize and reward academic excellence and are not usually based on financial need. CINTS majors are eligible for the following scholarships:
Paul J. Strand Endowed Scholarship
- The value of each scholarship award will be determined by the scholarship committee
- The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the scholarship committee
- Open to Comparative International Studies Majors
- Minimum 3.00 overall cumulative GPA Undergraduate
- Full-time enrollment required
- Essay Required
Application period August to October
College of Arts & Letters Scholarship
- The value of each scholarship award will be determined by the scholarship committee
- The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the scholarship committee
- No minimum overall cumulative GPA required
- Undergraduate students are NOT required to be enrolled full-time
- Awards are available to first-time freshmen
- Essay Required
Application period August to October
Ruth G. Keen Memorial Scholarship
- The value of each scholarship award will be determined by the scholarship committee
- The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the scholarship committee
- Minimum 3.50 overall cumulative GPA
- Undergraduate students are NOT required to be enrolled full-time
- Essay Required
Application period August to October
SDSU College of Arts and Letters Alumni Chapter Scholarship
- Each scholarship award will have a value of $2,500
- Two scholarships may be awarded
- Open to all majors in the College of Arts and Letters
- Minimum 3.00 overall cumulative GPA Undergraduate
- Full-time enrollment required
- Essay Required
- Finalists may be interviewed
